It was a damn good turnout and there were some serious GM products on display. Got to meet a few people (good to finally put a face to a name), got a little sunburned, and now I'm ready to race. Too bad we have to wait until October.

Camaros outnumbered Mustangs, but it wasn't by a landslide.

Nick told me there was more Stangs. Wish I could have made it. By the time I could head out it wouldn't have been worth the long drive since they are going to Ennis tonight. I won't be able to make that either because I will have my four year old tonight to entertain. I just might go to Kellers tonight instead.

When I pulled in I thought I saw more Camaros. I didn't count, so I may be wrong.

I counted 27 Camaro's today, Dale was getting a final count on Mustangs.. Pretty even. WE all rolled in pretty much together and Mustangs kind of trickled in a few at a time, so it was hard to get a count. A green one pulled in as we were all living..

I think this is something we should do more. But maybe more interaction between the to. Maybe each group rating the other groups cars. Mods. And exhaust ect..

Agree, but for a first meet everyone is a little stand offish.. As to be expected.. Next event should be a little more lax.. We were just as impressed with your vehicles as well.. There was a mutual respect which was great..

After the race we should have a meet/car show at Double Ds!

There were some really great looking Stangs at the meet! Sorry some of us had to scoot out early but we had the other benefit show we were committed to as well. We were hoping you guys would meet up with us out there. We will be out at Northstar in a couple of weeks.

Shut the fuck up you bumbling retard. There was some asshat in a Kona blue GT500 with red/white stripes that laid down a whole coffee can of red and blue glitter all over the parking lot. I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem with tracking that shit inside your clean car.

His car was clean, but he was setting up everything like we were about to be judged at a car show. Had his Cobra Snake trophy out and all that.

The glitter just made him look like an idiot.

My point is that instead of saying it was a fun event, or had a good time etc, he's always got something negative to say.

Post #140 shows he already said it was a good meet, and even acknowledged some of the Camaros.

Yeah, we were wondering if that guy was really with you guys or not.. He was still setting stuff up even after we left..

He had Ornaments and Pictures of his car in the garage and pics of the car in the drive way.. It was certainly a display piece.. But when the Glitter came rolling out..

Do not get me wrong, we have some show queens that push the envelope, I am not going to lie.. But Lambo Doors VS glitter.. Ill take the doors any day !

The Mustang VS Camaro Pre-Meet was a fun event. I enjoyed meeting up with fellow DFW50 members and getting a chance to check out their beautiful rides. The Camaro owners were very friendly and we all showed mutual respect to our fellow bretheren in the automotive hobby. I certainly hope that this partnership will continue into the future.
