Nice. What size? Might have to copy.

merlinmol 02-07-2013 01:26 AM

I like my Maggie TVS, its been great so far and you don't have to cut anything like you do with the Roush TVS.

I'm interested in the power it will make for sure. I just don't see a D1 making anything more than low 700's and that is spinning the shit out of it. If he spins at all he will get murdered on the hit for sure. Foof's car is a fuckin torque monster.

Do what? Those D1's are rated to 950 rwhp. At least that's what Clint and Tim told me.

Maggie's seem to be great blowers as long as you're okay with moderate blower power. They are a good deal for the money.

Here's one that made 820ish and ran 9's in the quarter.

That's always been the gimmick with Procharger since the beginning days. They used to tell people in their broschure that a stock fox 5.0 with a P1sc would make 600rw too. How many of those did you see running around? lol.

If it did it, it didn't do it too many times, that's for sure.

Joe's car made 820rw on E85 and ran a 9.70-80's on a privately prepped track day with an awesome DA. That's cooking for sure, but NOT the norm for a D1sc. That was redlining the shit out of a D1. He should be stepping up to a F series head unit flowing that kind of air.

Grandpa 02-07-2013 01:47 AM

Hell, Dave has gone far enough beyond what they expect people to do with a D1 that when they couldn't figure out the MAF issue, they called Procharger to ask what to do - their reply - "i dunno". lol. Dave had to figure it out for them! lol.

Phuck Phace 02-07-2013 01:56 AM

D1 for sale, need a good deal on an F1.

LMAO HPP had one for 4500 with 1k miles on it a few months back.

Midnight11 02-07-2013 02:00 AM

Fuck I'd take that, need to take another loan and get in more debt. It's the American way lol

Same thing happened to Donnie (blownaltered). He bought the F1A, enjoyed it for about a month until he got tired of driving around a car that sounded like a harrier jet plane! lmao. Fuck it was LOUD.

Phuck Phace 02-07-2013 02:12 AM

Damn, I wonder how much I can sell my D1 for and pick up an F

Knowing, you probably would like to drive something like that. lol. Donnie would drive with that blow off valve right next to my window and it cause actual physical pain to my ear because it was so loud. People would pull away from him or slow down just to get away from him in traffic and don't even think about a drive thru! lmao. If he had actually drove that thing everyday like that, it would have been the biggest cop magnet ever! lol.

If I remember right, I think Procharger had a trade in program at one time. Don't know if they still do or not.

LOL, I'm probably getting ahead of myself anyway.

I don't know about moderate, SVTP's testing boosted the car another 200whp almost the same on the torque band with stock pulley. Granted that was with a custom CAI, Maggie is still working on the production version that should be out soon. It ends up being no different than any other TVS, except the install is much nicer on the Maggie and it is 100% bolt on vs others that require cutting. Obviously not everyone's choice is a TVS, but a 200+ gain on a stock pulley isn't that bad.

No worries, in truth boost is boost and there are a lot of kits that do well for the different types of needs people have.

Even when it runs, it still sits in the garage 99% of the time. (except to and from the shop lol)

Yup, I agree! I like the ease of install on the Maggie and in comparison to the Roush, it's got a great price too.

Not when I get my car back this time. I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it. Haven't driven it in two months and it will probably be three before it's finally done.
