That's some serious rubber right there. More than looks, this car will stick to the road.

re-rx7 03-30-2014 03:07 PM

Fender rolling?

Nope these fenders are already rolled and these tires should fit no problem.

So are you doing like Josh and going to have these wheels serve as your AutoX wheels? Or still keeping the A6s?

Haven't decided yet. Depends on what tires I get. If I get bfg rivals I'll Prolly sell the 18s. Either way next "track" wheels will Prolly have rivals

Wanted some finer grained adjustability than the store bought stuff. 5 possible locations per inch. Can also have a location higher up, closer to the stock one, which is what is needed.

Now that's interesting.

Going to do the same with the front mount for the upper.

Will be mounted on the vertical panel behind the driver seat and under the driver side rear seat. It fits perfectly.

Great tire choice and width on all corners. That pony will turn.

With the track season in full swing, decided to go the lazy route and pick this up. Getting tired of heel-toe downshifting and my inconsistency. Hopefully give me a little more stability under heavy braking into corners. Smooth in, fast out.

Finally got around to ordering tri bar fender badges

yefferys50 04-02-2014 05:00 PM

Kooks catback, Steeda Ultralite springs, Eibach camber bolts.

Crimson600+HP 04-17-2014 11:53 PM

Picked up a Boss 302S grille from a track buddy for $200. Not a bad score and should help out my overheating issue by improving airflow. Will get a chance at TWS next month to see if the extra vents will make a difference like many suggested.

Getting around to doing a full brake flush as the Motul I have had has been in the car for about 4 months and a couple track sessions. Finally was able to get some ATE SuperBlue so I can tell exactly when I have bled all the old fluid out. The Motul stuff is great, but I plan on swapping between the two for as long as I can get the ATE SuperBlue shipped in at a reasonable price.

Not necessarily a performance part or anything, but it was able to grab a full set of the Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Mustang set. The 2003 Cobra is a horrible casting, but I think it is pretty cool that they did a run for the 50th birthday of our babies.

I got my full set too. It's funny that the '03 Cobra is not a Cobra at all....it's an SN95 Cobra, not a new edge. WTF Hot Wheels??

Nice score on the Boss 302S grill!

Crimson600+HP 05-04-2014 01:53 PM

Installing the CSF radiator and the extra thickness is forcing me to modify the radiator mounts...we'll see how this goes.

Finally broke down and purchased a catch can system now for the car. Going with a Peterson can and gabbing the rest up like a guy on SVTP. Looks like a solid build and should help with some of the blowback. This isn't my car, but the system will look similar.

Where did you find the cars? Walmart?

Crimson600+HP 05-04-2014 05:12 PM

Walmart is where I picked mine up. They are also sold all over the net in complete sets on Ebay also.

KurvStr8nr 05-15-2014 10:48 PM

Had the windows tinted today at ProTint in Plano w/ Huper Optik Stark 30.

Received the BMR LCA Relo brackets - installing Saturday

Whiteline PHB on backorder for two weeks - :(

downtime! 05-15-2014 11:30 PM

Best one yet, gonna be hard to top this one - ordered a new drivers side inner fender splash shield to replace the one HPP destroyed when they installed the Kenne Bell. Now that's a high glamour part right there!

Crimson600+HP 05-15-2014 11:53 PM

Brake pads that are going to be installed by my roommate, as he is rotating my tires. Have to get them on as I will be lapping Texas World Speedway once again this weekend.

Free service because I found him a unicorn, a 2014 SS 1LE and saved him $5.5K off MSRP (find one, let alone dealing that well on one is hard as road racers scoop these things up fast).

garner 05-15-2014 11:56 PM

That'll make 2 2014 1LE in the killeen area that I know of

Got me covered, I threw my GT500s on the next day after I picked it up.

Crimson600+HP 06-05-2014 05:19 PM

CJ Manifold, GT500 Twin 60mm Throttle Body, FRPP CJ Intake, 3.73 Gears, O/R H Pipe, & a loss in power. Time to build this car for reliability on the road course...gotta kill the heat.

Orange KONI's and GT500 Upper Strut Mounts

No more clunkity-clunk-clunk-clunk when turning the wheel

Here is what the Factory Mounts looked like when I removed them:
