I guess it's cool to tune it for driveability and all, but almost impossible to get the maps tuned while hauling f'in ass.

No one said anything about doing 200 MPH. Just lock the converter in a gear and make some WOT pulls to redline. No need to speed.

I don't have a converter. And to tune a turbo car properly, it needs to be in 1 to 1 to load the car properly. My car will do 200 or a tad more in fourth gear...

Just saying that it isn't so safe and very difficult to monitor real time.

Kevin knows what he's doing for sure, but to do my setup properly, you can't tune it in second and call it a day.

When did we start talking about YOUR car Matt? LOL :hmmm2:

You need to get that car finished and quit talking about it.

I was just mentioning dynos have merit and a place vs them being made fun of. That's all.

Car looks great. Love the new rims.

Motor goes to Keith in 5 weeks if I don't buy Andrew's RDI instead

Not here. On DFW50s.com, dynos are completely useless. First forum I have ever been on that believes this lol.

Lol, they are merely a tool to get the car tuned safely. Too much importance made over peak numbers these days, but what should matter is before and after tuning and mod changes... doing this on the street Imo is dangerous, even much more so than racing as you have to go much faster while monitoring. and data logging. Everyone has their own takes on the subject, that is simply my input on the matter.

Kevin knows his shit and his can will be fast. I think that is what Steve and Kevin were alluding to about dynos being "Worthless"

Dyno's are great and all but on the coyote platform, I prefer datalogging and getting a tune that has drivability. not just tuning for WOT and calling it a day.
