I love it. Just wish there were more color choices

I think we're gonna see a GT top $50k now

Dominic Toretto 12-05-2013 09:35 PM

Not sure how I feel about that 400 awkward angles of the front end but, I like the rest of the car. Very curious to see what the new 5.0 produces.

People still holding their breath thinking this will be a 3,000lb car?

Love the non ambiguous gauges! Anyone notice the 6k rpm redline? WTF?

Believe that redline is for the I4 or V6

Dave "...from 412 to 420 horse? Well, we're going to take it a step further." LOL Okay?

Well based on the stuff he stated from the specs, I am expecting a solid 445-450hp and 410tq number. That would put it pretty even with the LT1 that will inevitably end up in the Camaro SS.

Why is there a turbo 4 AND a V6?

Dan12GT 12-06-2013 05:20 PM

I love everything about it except the rear lower valence. I don't like how there are two non-painted parts between a painted part. Kinda don't like the reverse light location, other than that I love it all!.

Slow Five-O 12-06-2013 05:20 PM

I think 420 is a little conservative. Also i don't think they want to go much higher probably do they can sell the mach 1/gt350/cobra

Im sure the car will grow on us. But I love my 2013!

Shaggy 12-06-2013 09:07 PM

Anyone thinking about upgrading? I love to look, but the back(not the tails) I need to get used to.

I may when the aftermarket fixes the Evo-inspired front end. It didn't work on the Charger and it doesn't work on the Mustang either IMO. Everything else about it is great.

If they do a Mach I'm sure the wife will want one. I'm really starting to dig the new Mustang. I think lowering it and the nice set of wheels will really make it look badass. With those bulging fenders and fastback design, some rear deep lip wheels are going to look outstanding!

El_Tortuga 12-07-2013 04:20 AM

Lots to like about about the 15, but my 14 isn't going anywhere.

Dan12GT 12-07-2013 11:47 AM

If I do upgrade I will probably do it at the tail end of this model reign as the 2020 model will have subtle changes.

I agree on the power thing too. I wouldn't expect anymore more than 440ish.

Considering the GT500 was $62k+, I seriously doubt it would be that cheap.

Gt 350 is the 500s baby brother... they still plan a big hp 500 car.. so unless they want to price thr 500 in the 70s, the 350 should be 50 somethin.

Considering the GT500 is now no longer going to be produced, it will be 60k+

Nope this year is the last year of the GT500.

re-rx7 12-08-2013 09:59 AM

The Trinity motor is too big.

re-rx7 12-09-2013 06:08 AM

Its also extememly expensive to produce. The height of the engine is also the problem. Thats why the 5.0 took over.

DirtyD 12-09-2013 10:21 AM

I still don't see that motor fitting in these new cars...

Widht may end pu being just enough to shoehorn it in there, but I see no way that height of the 5.8 with the blower will fit into this new car's engine bay.

Dominic Toretto 12-09-2013 10:25 AM

Like the renderings though.

BLK2012GT 12-09-2013 10:45 AM

So someone makes a pic of a GT500 in the new body style must means they are making one. SMH. And can you find a bigger pic Steve?:slap:

Am I the only one that prefers the 11-14 over the 2015?

I like a little retro and the new one doesn't look like it's quite sure what it is...

If the catfish mouth, Nissan window and Datsun taillights were changed it would be better.

++1 Going to bust a move about this time next year and right now a C7 is what I would get. Hope Ford can bring something to the table that can whoop it.

I just don't like that the Mustang now looks like every other Ford in the front. At least it used to be uniquely Mustang all around. Now it looks just like the Fusion, Focus, Taurus etc... they all have the same openings, light designs and placement.

Good luck with that with the C7Z supposedly debuting next year.

American muscle is saying 430, but they also said the current 5.0 has 422. Not much credibility there

BeastStang1302 12-18-2013 04:31 PM

Looks like Ford didn't forget about the drag racers:
