I like the idea of the truck just wish they would have given it a little more power. looks like its just a short bed short cab FX2 with the standard Ecoboost and 4.10 gears.

That was the point? LOL

This is basically just another trim level option for the F150. Hopefully it will lead the revival of the Lightning in the next gen F150.

I know its what they were trying to do but I wish they were going to make a true sport truck like the lightning not just another trim level for the F150

OG Fox 06-27-2013 04:55 PM

a lil overpriced but a great truck. hopefully they support the aftermarket for it.

I think this truck will sell in the low 40s MSRP, but could be had for mid 30s most likely.

Damn, starting at $38k, that is steep. I'd rather just pick up the crewcab. Some sticky tires and a converter will be fun to see at the track though.

Where did you see pricing figures, Lucas? Everywhere I've seen says pricing to come this Fall before production begins.

03MachMe 06-27-2013 05:14 PM

I would be willing to be $38k is going to be VERY close. the F150s have gotten too damn expensive

Cars in general have gotten too expensive. Even crappy econoboxes are the price of what Mustangs used to MSRP for...

Junkie 06-27-2013 05:44 PM

Seems pretty cool to me, as far as the prices go. Everything has went way up, nothing we can do about that.

JDMLOL 06-27-2013 06:13 PM

Love it. Decent fuel economy and good power.

DirtyD 06-27-2013 09:24 PM

So reports now are saying somewhere between 23k-27k. That is awesome

Toby 06-27-2013 09:58 PM

would be better if they offered the 6.2 in a std cab stripped down truck!

this... totally agree.

Kinda like the Adrenaline was supposed to have a Term motor in it and then fucken failed with a 3v GT motor... good ideas, horrible execution.
