It's up to each owner to do their due diligence when it comes to researching issues rather than relying on someone else they don't know to do it for them blindly on the internet.

Grammar Nazis

It bothered me too though. LOL

No reference cited to the source and has it been peer reviewed?

You just had some bad luck there man. Few people beat on their car as much as I do, and few have had more tunes from more tuners. The few issues we could actually track down where damage did happen, were almost completely from marginal tunes, questionable octane ratings and beating the crap out of the car.

Yeah, the cylinder 8 thing is a complete myth. It only affects 2011 cars. It is due to poor aftermarket tunes and running cheap gas.

LMFAO. Yeah. Right.

FWIW, I think BAMA figured out any problems with their tunes long ago, so the likelihood of having a "bad" one from them is low. I've seen many cars going deep 11s on BAMA tunes. Still, getting a tune from a local tuner is probably going to make more power and will probably be as safe.

I've got a 2011 gt. Bama tune went on it around 3,000 miles I think? I'm now over 30,000 .. autocrossed, 1/4 mile. Streets of Mexico at 165... I have had other tunes on it. But never for more than a month I believe. . Always gone back to bama. I'm just basic bolt ons . I've recently started data logging every tank of "93" and so far shell 93 is the best gas.. pilot was the worst.. it pulled so much timing... oh and exxon was just as good as shell. . I'll never fill up at pilot again.. it pulled timing on a 91 octane street tune!!!

I have a 2013 5.0 and was wondering what the average cost for a truestreet dyno tune is, my car is essentially stock with a catback and a few other mild things and just want to wake it up a little bit.
