Even within updated device, it can still happen...

Just tried to flash again, and it failed...and the car won't start again.

You might have to call sct. You will have to give them the vin and they can create a recovery file if the problem continues.

I can take it back to stock, so that's not an issue. Just have to wait 20 minutes before it will let me take it back to stock :p

DO WHAT I SAY. STEP BY STEP. IT WILL WORK FINE.

Unplug the battery. Leave it sitting for a couple of minutes. While that is happening turn your lights on and off. Pump the brakes. Plug the battery back in. Hook it up to jumper cables/jumper pack/charger. YOU ARE NOT GETTING ENOUGH VOLTAGE FROM THE BATTERY TO THE ECM. DO THIS AND IT WILL WORK.

I got this information from one of the best tuners who works with SCT. It has nothing to do with the tune or the tuner. The ECM goes into failsafe mode to protect it from getting a half tune and the power going low. Like unplugging a flashdrive while trying to download something to it.

This is what sct told me to do when I called and it worked. Just cutting out as much as possible.

Off to buy a damned charger to plug in while I run the tune this time. Somehow I have managed to never own one, guess it's time I invest :)
