Glad I'm not the only one, I barely want some of them sitting in or around it with their lack of care for cars.. Much less driving it

I've let my dad, cousin, and my girlfriend's dad drive mine. Girlfriend has only scooted around a parking lot in 2nd. Haha

some friends ask... and the answer is always "no".

My wife can drive it if she wants to, but she's never really shown any interest in doing so. Her and Kevin would be the only ones I'd trust with my car.

Sure, in a big, empty parking lot when you are sober...:rotflmao:

The mustang is the wife's car so I ask to drive/race it. Never been told no. She drives the vette when she wants but she doesn't like how low it is. If we are doing a road trip in it she doesn't mind highway in it but dealing with curbs and parking lots sucks in a low car.

The only person to drive my car besides me has been Kevin.

No one wanted to drive my 86, including my gf(wife now) or any friends. My dad drove it once on big and littles and he said it felt like we were driving on flats and got out of the car in the middle of the road and said "swap back, no thanks." Lol

Dude you are seriously trying to make me look like a drunk. I've had a totall of 8 beers in the entire month of January so far. I think in part your trying to be funny but I also think you really believe I am a drunk.

Never let your friends bar your car or your old lady because you never know when they will throw a rod in one.

My friend Brad totaled my black 89 hatchback. Slammed on chrome ponies, black tined windows, Steeda wing, it looked amazing. The asshole was hauling ass down a residential street that came to a dead end. He locked up the brakes and slid right into the the curb head on right front wheel first and of course it had to be the section of the curb where the water drained down so it stuck up further. The front wheel/subframe was crushed all the way to the firewall, the roof was buckled on the opposite and he drove it home with the front end dragging on the ground.

I learned that lesson the hard way. Never let anyone else drive your car. A lot of my friends will let me drive their cars but they know I drive like an old man and I don't drive my own car hard let alone anyone elses.

I think its actually a theft deterrent... anyone who would be stealing my car would have to stand there and wait 30 seconds while they move the seat back! NO other human can get into it as is!

My detailer has driven the vette when he details it. I told him to take it to work. He got on it 1/4 throttle, crapped his pants and said he never wants to drive it again. A few of my friends have driven it that I trust. It is just a car.

I'll let any of my friends or family drive it(I'll let anyone drive it as long as I'm in it). It's not like it's a Ferrari... it's a Ford. Plus they can't drive it any harder than I do.

Obviously I won't let my "stupid" friends drive it, but I don't let them inside my house either.

Only if they've had experience in expensive, reasonably fast cars. And have good insurance.

And can afford to replace it.
