Hey everybody. I just got a 2013 GT on 12/28/12. It is a 6 speed manual Premium coupe with the following upgrades/ packages: 3.55 limited slip, comfort package( heated seats, heated mirrors, and pony projection), and the GT coupe accessory package 5 (1/4 window louvers, side scoops, and pedestal rear spoiler). It feels great being back in a Mustang!

We are no stranger to the Mustang obsession. My other ride is a 1965 Mustang coupe. It has a modified 289 with a g-force t5. It has run a best of 11.82@115 in the 1/4. Some past Mustangs of my include a 1991 LX hatch, 1993 GT, and a 1998 GT. My wife has had a 2001 GT and a 2009 GT/CS.

Some other hobbies we enjoy are ATV trail riding and cross country ATV racing.

Here are some pics of the new 5.0. These were just what the dealership had on their website. The weather has been crappy so I have not had a chance to take my own. I have already had the windows tinted.

Welcome. Nice 13 gt, looks good in silver, not a fan of the 1/4 louver or the side scoops though. The '65 is very sexy, if you are bored with her you can give her to me.... just saying :D

Welcome, where do you ride, we've got a decent size group that goes to Lake Murray and Muenster to ride on occasion.

Mainly RRMT in Muenster. Check out www.dfwdirtriders.com there is always someone going riding somewhere.

Yeah I've seen it, don't get on much but if you haven't been to Lake Murray you should try it, about the same distance as Muenster and in my opinion, a little better riding.

Weve been once. I like RRMT better because the variety and the amount of challenging trails. Lake murray is great for family rides at a slower pace and camping. What do you ride?

I've got a Suzuki Z400, I'm the slow one in my group. 2 have 700 Raptors, one Canam 450, a YZF450, 2 Predators and a RZR are the usual, a few 4x4's usually come as well. I've been wanting to get something quicker but the car comes first.

Just hit 5000 miles today and finally going to start modding this thing! Doing the first oil change with Mobil 1 and rotating the tires tonight.

Boral S-Type cat back exhaust w/ x-pipe has been ordered
American Muscle Black Billet grill with tri-bar pony ordered
CS Style Fog lights ordered
Also ordered the small dash Tri-bar pony emblem for a fox body Mustang to put on the passenger side air bag cover. ( We did this on my wife's 2009 Mustang and it really helps the dash... for a $10 item...the factory should have done this from the beginning.)

Next items will be 20" wheels and steeda sport springs.

Which wheels are you going with?

Still haven't decided. The exhaust postponed wheels for a while but I could not pass up a chance of a brand new borla cat back for 850 shipped.

I am thinking about the 20" machined FR500's. Relatively inexpensive, look good, and you don't see many 11-13 Mustangs with them. If they ever come out with the machined 20" AMR wheel I might go with those.

Yes, those were both taken at Ennis. I probably haven't been to the dragstrip in a year and a half though.
