I bought the 01 Cobra in May of '15 with a goal of 1200 HP at 3000 pounds. Spent ungodly amounts of money, got burnt out spending all of that money and not being able to enjoy the car. I started parting it out about 3 weeks ago.
I purchased the 01 Z06 to replace it and it will run SSM and CAMS in auto cross this year. Very clean, not ragged out, 63k miles and was bone stock until last night.
The fox was unexpected. I was attempting to sell the Cobra as a roller and was offered the 89 as a trade for the roller. I couldnt pass up the deal, as it's a very clean car too. Still undecided as to what its future will be. I may sell it, I may keep it. If I do, it's path is undecided. Likely, a 331, but who knows.
