Well, initially I wanted to go with some 20x9/20×10 concept one wheels but I've decided to go in a different direction. I've been reading into it for a little while now and I've changed my mind and now want to get a set of the SVE Drift wheels in 18x10 on all 4. I'd like to do 295/35-18s on all 4 corners, maybe Nitto NT05s...

I'd like to know if anyone has any first hand knowledge of running a wide square setup like that?

According to what I've read, those wheels and tires will fit all the way around and the front end link bolts and strut shouldn't rub, but I'm trying to get all the info I can good or bad before I pull the trigger.

I've got Ryan's old 20x10 setup on all 4 corners. Nitto Invos. I love it. No rub and lowered. 285 30 20s.

It took me an eternity to decide on wheels and I'm looking at my third aftermarket exhaust option.
It feels like I'll be messing around with the little things forever. No wonder I'm still slow.

I run 285s squared on 19" SVE Drifts. Love it.

Yeah, I feel like I've changed my mind 100 times, but the price and look of the SVEs really hooked me.

I've got 20x10 275/35 squared and no rubbing on Roush wheels. I'd rather have 18" SVE Drifts though.

AMR's are cheaper than SVE's...same exact look..its what I have on my car.

I looked at the AMRs but there is just something about the subtle differences of the SVE over the AMR that I like.

I'm hung up on what tire to run tho. LMR has the NT555, NT555R, and NT05... only the 05 is in 295... I was thinking about running a 295/35 NT05 out back with 285/40 NT555 in the front. what are your thoughts?

295/35 NT05s squared. The 2 different sizes might look kinda funny since the front tire would probably be a taller tire. The 295/35 NT05s front and rear will handle great, you'll be able to rotate and make them last longer, and they will look sick as hell.

They do look sick, Anybody run those tires? I was curious how long they lasted. if I'm gonna pay $1200 for tires I'd like em to make it more than 8k miles.

I have the 555's. The seem to be lasting longer than the Continental Extremem DW's that I had on there before.

I'm thinking about going with the 295/35-18 Nitto INVOs...

Hey Downtime! You wouldn't happen to be a comissioning agent would you?

I ran the NT555 after removal of the stockers they rode harsh and got slippery and noisy after 10k miles. The tread still was good but the tire got hard. I'm running bridgestone S-04 pole positions on 19x10 and 19x9 Boss 302S wheels. 289/35's on the rear and I think they are much better. 20's make a stang ride like a brick.

A buddy of mine runs the NT05s on his RX7. He has had them a while, but his car is always broken because it's rotary.

+1 on riding like a brick. BUT I wouldn't ever go back to the stock set up. Handles so much better now lowered withe the square set up. Just saving up now for LCA and all the assorted rear end things I want to do to eliminate the remaining wheel hop. MGW Race Tec just waiting for install, too.

That's making my decision even harder. LMR has the NT555 in 285/40 or the NT05 in 295/35... my Mustang isn't a DD so I know it wouldn't hurt to get the NT05s, I just don't want them to wear out super quick. But knowing people have had some issues with the NT555 is making that decision alot easier...
