It was 45 degrees in Maryland that day and the track is right at sea level. We had a negative 1800 d/a and ultimate track prep. The car had the axle backs, the tune and the dr's.

Thanks! I wasn't sure about black but decided to take a chance. I think it came out pretty good.

I like it a lot. I had the SLP trim on there and never got it to fit right, so I switched over to the MMR trim from AM and it fit like a glove.

Dropped the car off at HPP last weekend for the KB installation. Thought I was done with blowers, but after I sold the last kit, Manny had a deal I couldn't refuse. So, she'll be blown again, maybe ready by this weekend.

Spoke with Brad at the shop this morning and they did the baseline dyno run. She made 430 Hp and 420 ft lbs torque, so the Gearheads tune was definitely doing its job. Can't complain about those numbers at all.

The parts list for this trip are the KB 2.8LC kit, we're going with a 170* thermostat, I've having them install a boost gauge (using the Roush vent pod), install my LCA's, and they're installing the TMZ panhard bar they they took off of Mannys car.

They'll get the car back in a month or so for the new clutch (going dual disc), new axles and c-clip eliminators, and most likely a new shifter.

I took delivery of the new DR's and wheels yesterday, so at the track she'll be wearing MT 325/50's on 15x10 Dark Stars. Still need to get the front's, but I'm waiting until I can locate some '10 caliper brackets to be able to clear 15" wheels on the front.

Looks like I'll be in the market for a new set of wheels and tires for daily duty too, since Ryan now has my old Drifts. The stockers don't offer much in the way of traction with the KB on there.

So that's where we are as of now, I'll post more when I get the car back.

Here's the new back wheels and DR's. A full 28" tall (effective gearing will be 3.52 at this height) and a full 12.5" wide with a nice tall sidewall. Should be able to hook with these!

Very nice, you're gonna spin all day on street tires. It already does, at least on cold pavement. Lined up with a C6 a few nights ago and did their usual 60 mph roll race. Grabbed third and smoked the tires. Not looking forward to a couple hundred more hp on the stock pizza cutters at all!

Still not used to what these 5.0s can handleI didn't worry about it before, but it bugs me now, hence the new axles and c-clip eliminators. That way, if I do snap an axle, at least it wont walk out of the housing and cause a crash.

It definitely won't win any beauty contests! What really ticks me off is how quiet they are now. With the new gears and thicker case, you can't hear them hardly at all.

Looks like 625 is the final number. The 80 lb injectors and 20 amp BAP helped out but it still ran out of fuel a little bit on the top end. Stock short block longevity is the main concern now at this level. I'm already planning a built short lock for next year, then we can up the injectors, add the bigger BAP and wick it up. Should be a lot of fun, especially with that instant torque hit.

All we're waiting on now is hooking up the boost gauge and adjusting the panhard bar, so I should have her back this week. Can't wait!

She's home, and is an absolute beast to drive. Rev limiter comes up fast, LOL!
Final numbers are 625 hp and 515 torque, at what looks to be just under 10 psi. The tune is very good, near stock driveability with an extra 200 hp thrown in the mix (baseline was 430 hp/ 420 torque with the old Gearheads tune). Still trying to upload the video, but here's a few pics -

Sick. I bet that thing is a blast on the street. Wish the KB's weren't so damn expensive! It is fun. More so now than before, the tune is much more driveable. Still has a few rough spots in it (idles a little high and part throttle cruising has a small surge) but other than that it's a blast to drive.

I know Steve will like this (rivets, LOL!), but I got the Razors installed that I picked up from Jonathan. 20x9 and 20x10 with 255/35's and 275/35's. Sort of an updated old school look to them. I'll swap out to a 295/35 when the backs wear out, but they have a bunch of treadlife left, so it will be a while. Anywho, here's a crappy white washed pic for now -

What size pulley is that? 3-7/8" or 4"?3 7/8". We purposely added a little room to grow into the build for later mods (the KB throttle body and possibly E85 for the short term, built motor and upping the boost for down the road).
