I was at the Forney Wal-Mart this past Friday night and saw a beautiful black 5.0 with y'all's decal on the back so I had to come check this out!

I have a 2012 Lava Red Metallic 5.0 manual with the track pack. :) I'm totally in love with her!

And I'm "old"... I'd dreamed of having a Mustang for a very long time since I was a teenager but my husband I have five children so I've had minivans and SUVs and yes that hurt. hehe Now that the last two children are 14 and 16 we sold my SUV and got my beautiful Mustang.

Maybe it's around 40 we can buy cars to mod, have some disposable cash on hand and have fun in spare time at this age?

It helps now that most of the kids are gone. When they were little I couldn't afford a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.

I had a fox body back in the early 90's. Loved that car. Sadly, back in my 20's, all I could afford was the car. Now, I can afford to buy myself something nice and 'upgrade' it to my own liking.

I'm still considering a fox. Probably being nostalgic but I actually have the means to restore one and make it into something I couldn't afford to back then. What I lack is time and motivation. Its not easy to roll around on the concrete under a car as it used to be.

I've also notice a difference between type and quality of mods that the olds and the lolpoors put on their cars. Most of them anyway...I haven't done a whole lot to mine.

All of this. Part of what took me so long to get in position to buy was the knowledge that I would be paying for mods (mostly suspension) , and money to play (tires, brakes, event costs, etc,). It definitely adds up, but it's so much fun. Love this car!
