Looks like Sunday is gonna get rough if the dryline pushes east. 100 miles will make the difference. Be on the lookout dudes.

Yeah, it's only a 30% chance right now. It could change a dozen times between now and then. That's Spring time for ya here in the southwest.

It's because we are too damn close to the shithole otherwise known as Oklahoma.

Oi, hope it stays north. I'll be driving back from southern Louisiana on Monday morning.

It was pretty comical. Last time we had those big storms roll through Denton. My cousin works for Enterprise Rental Car up in the area. A few days before the storm obviously he was renting vehicles to people that were involved in wrecks or problems with their personal vehicles.

Needless to say these people weren't very bright thinking about the season. They declined the additional insurance that would cover them.

During and after the storm, some of the rental cars had significant hail damage, windows busted out and they called to ask what they should do. He advised them to call their insurance to file another claim seeing they didn't get the extra coverage for pennies on the dollar.

Extra coverage any time your renting a car is a must. I had my rental while the stang was in the shop and it happened to be the first big Ice storm hit that night. Long story short, the awning i park under fell on it. Luckily it was covered.

If you're south of i30 and especially i20, you're good. Hardly anything ever comes through that far south. Everything seems to move across a diagonal line from weatherford to the red river.

We need the rain. Lol.

But ya, I don't wish what happened in the Coppell area several years ago even on my daily beater. I grow more attached to this old Volvo each day and have dreams of making it showroom perfect with, dare I say it? An ls swap. Don't want to spark any arguments.
