I've used the wolfgang swirl remover and total finishing glaze 3.0. Worked really well for me. I also have some blackfire sealant that I need to try out. Always open to try new stuff so post up what you are using :D

I use 3m compounds/polishes with my buffer. Its expensive but its the best stuff I have used. Its what we used at Lexus in the body shop.

Oh boy, my OCD section. I'm a clean freak and learning as much as I can about this stuff. I keep the underside of my car as clean as the outside. When I was having my wheels/tires mounted, while they were mounting tires I was in the fenderwells cleaning everything in the wheelwell, suspension etc. They were looking at me like I was nuts! lol.

When my buddy Kevin (04sleeper) joins this board, he'll be able to give us a TON of tech on this stuff and E85. The guy is a serious guru on the stuff.

He's got me using Colonite 845 and the shine is amazing. I always keep Wizard detail spray in everyone of my cars with mircrofiber towels. The bugs are insane out here where I live and every single time I drive my car I have to wipe the bugs off so it doesn't eat up the clearcoat.

Here are some of my old rides and the stuff I used for these was the black ones I used ,"Turtles black box", and the Z, I used "Meguiars Tech Wax 2.0." And now with the white mustang there is nothing too it, I tried waxing it but it looked the same after I did, so its not as fun :(
(And yes I went a little overboard on my avalanche with the chrome so I apologize, it was not supposed to end up that extreme, but I couldn't stop at the time).

How long does it normally take to do a mustang with that "turtles black box" your first time out ?

Took me two to two and a half hours to do without using a polishing machine so I'm sure you would cut the time if you used a machine instead of just doing it by hand.

Have been using Meguiars products for years, however, I recently had the opportunity to try out Mother's Reflections and am very impressed with the results. Went on easy, came off even easier compared to NTX 2.0. I am a believer!

Washed, clayed, and waxed mine this weekend. I took my my sweet time because of the heat and finished about 4 hours later. Haha

I used the Mother's Instant Detailer (red bottle) and my Meguiar's NTX 2.0 wax.

Justin, I might have to check into that Reflections wax to see if it comes off any better. That NTX was a lot of circles for my arm after washing and claying. =|

How long did you let the NTX sit on the car for before buffing it off?

I used a microfiber and my hand to buff. LOL

I let it haze over a little then started to "wax off". Maybe 20 seconds or so.

Collinite 845 right after purchasing. User friendly, apply with a d/a to get your coat thin, will not stain trim white, useful on paint, glass, trim and wheels

Ive been using Optimums Spray Car Wax on this truck since new. It offers excellent protection, it definitely helps bring out the mettalics in the dark blue pearl, plus, it takes only 5 minutes to wax the beast!
