On the way back from there tonight, I got a text from a FW police officer I know asking if I was racing out that way because his captain had stopped two Mustangs headed south on 820 and he had been waiting at the next exit with spike strips in case they ran. Fort Worth PD isn't going to play around with those guys and they will wind up getting shut out of the parking lot for the GTG.

All of our bunch stayed behind BS'ing about how the cops would be waiting out there. I'm amazed by people who seem to think the police don't know about this type of GTG and what will come from it. Hell, you can see patrol cars sitting in the lot watching the bunch.

Exactly I was at the Coit meet and saw at least two cops always lurking. Which to me I actually like the cops being there, keeps shit inline.
