No not from eating too many sugarless gummy bears.. my cars at 30,000 and I was going to drop the stock cover and swap the fluid (of course) what cover do you guys recommend and fluid? For 3.73's? I heard some fluids don't require the friction modifier?

Yes technically any LSD needs friction modifier. I like amsoil severe gear. You will have to add the friction modifier to it. I think the frpp diff cover is good?

The upgraded diff cover that comes on the GT500 I think is a decent upgrade. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/M4033K/1986-11-Mustang-Gt500-Style-Finned-Aluminum-Rear-End-Cover

Amsoil Severe Gear 75W140 is what the masses use, along with a whole tube of the friction modifier since we have an LS.

Looks like the same cover from Boss 302's and GT's with Track Pack.

I think they have it too. I know my Brembo doesn't.

I've got a T/A girdle and use Redline fluid.

Would you recommend the Redline over the Amsoil Severe Gear?

And that girdle looks just like the Ford Racing one. lol

I have no experience with Amsoil. Great products though.

Loran Keller (Open Track Connection) does most of my work and he really likes the Redline products for cars that are tracked, etc…

We used the T/A because of the lower profile to fit with the Torque Arm. Also used a Griggs Racing stud kit.

I am definitely going Amsoil for mine when I change the diff fluid. I may too change to a nice looking diff cover as well.
