I'm waiting to hear if it plays video via AV cables, DVD, or SD. Otherwise, we finally have found our aftermarket solution. All reviews so far has been positive. I would have preferred an 8 inch screen, but this thing is still sweet. $699 is waaaaay cheaper than any aftermarket configuration you can piece up with the Scosche or Metra kits. And its 1/5 of the price of the factory unit.

Not a bad price at all, I like having navagation in my car instead of using a garmin or my phone, might have to look into this in the near future.

There is a thread on SVTP where we are getting questions answered about the unit.

Still a few questions I have about it, but it looks pretty damn promising.

hmmm not too shabby.... I mostly use my phone even in my wifes car with nav but I do like the touch screen more than the 1990s display in the car now

Compared to what? My Nexus has a 7" screen and it's just fine. I'm well past the whole "putting a system in a car" thing (certified installer from way back in the day), but I think this would make a nice upgrade to the car, and free up my phone for calls and other things besides GPS. Seriously considering this one.

Me too. I'm going to wait for the bugs and an additional updates/upgrades to be implemented after a few rounds.

Yeah, that's the one I'm gonna get. Not so much for the nav portion but I'll use it occasionally... I just hate the cheese-dick looking LCD panel for the radio when all the other lighting/screens in my car are nice and modern. This will make my stereo look like it should have from the factory!

Looks a lot smaller than 7" in the pics. might have to see it in person.

That looks way more better, plus any kenwood stereo can fit.

That would look so much better if it was just the radio. Don't see the need to keep the little info display

What's the cost for it? Can't find the dash kit cost, just the radios and harnesses

Edit: Nevermind, found it. $250 for the dash piece, another $150ish for harnesses and then $950 at the cheapest for the radio

I thought I would bump this thread rather creating a new one in this section. My Raxiom Navigation system shipped this afternoon from American Muscle. I'm contemplating doing the installation myself but I've never taken the front panel off or taken off door panels (to run wires for the backup camera). Hooking it up would be a piece of cake for me because I build PCs...plus it's just plug and play. But I was wondering if any of you had suggestions of a stereo installation shop that could handle it for a decent price. Especially one that his experience with this kit.
