2005-2014 MUSTANG TSB'S AND RECALLS (http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/products/2005-2014-Mustang-TSB-Recall)

You may be asking yourself, “What exactly is a TSB?” Ford Mustang Technical Service Bulletins, or TSBs, are issued by Ford Motor Company and are recommended procedures for repairing Mustangs when there are several occurrences of an unanticipated problem. TSBs are generally written by Ford Engineers or the first dealership repair technician to write a repair procedure. Because problems can have multiple causes and solutions, it is not uncommon to have more than one TSB issued for the same concern.
A TSB is not a recall! One major difference between a Mustang recall and a technical service bulletin is that a recall typically comes from safety issues reported to and cataloged by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Recall repairs are performed by Ford dealers at no charge to the customer for a pre-determined period of time (usually 10 years) regardless of your Mustang’s warranty coverage status. A TSB repair is not performed at no-charge if your Mustang is out of warranty coverage.
