Got Dyno Tuned - Mach 1 - 5.0 Stroker

I was finally able to take my car into HPP and strap it to a dyno to see with my own eyes what kind of power its making. This is N/A on 93 octane and the dyno was reading 109 degrees fahrenheit.

Not bad at all. That dyno(known as the "heartbreaker" is notoriously stingy and in the heat that's pretty good numbers.

Thanks guys. Some people on other forums have told me the HPP dyno is quite generous, so I was surprised to hear Brad say it's stingy about numbers as well as you Steve.

Eventually I'll get a BAP and run some E85 but I want to get my suspension finished before screwing with more power.

I'd definitely like to run some people to see how I stand, but I've never raced in my entire life so the matchup would have to be against another newb.

If you doubt the numbers take it to another dynomlike ts or dp and see what it makes there.. Maybe itsthe tune?

Dont put too much stock into those dyno numbers .performance on the street and track is what really matters.

the 400-600 dollars is to TUNE it. dyno pulls are like 80 bucks for 3, and 40 bucks on dyno days...

Ya if you want to see what it does in cooler weather and on a different dyno bring it to TS in Oct. (hopefully t hey have another dyno day then like last year).

Anyway I think those are great numbers. You are roughly putting out as much power as me. Love the car too very clean!
