Well I got me a Stx F150 2wd Regular cab today. I traded the Mustang and stuff. I'll have a JBA O/R X pipe for sale $200. Its pretty fast for a truck even with the derated 5.0

Sucks to hear you ditched the car? Any particular reason? (If I may ask)
I would love to get into a new F150, but I love the car too much.
What are your plans for the truck?
I beat the crap out of the car. I like running over things :/ My insurance is $100 a month cheaper and payment is like $60 cheaper. I'm not sure if I'm going lift level it out or drop 2in front and 4in the back.
Don't by the used 5.0 GB mustang at Prestige Ford has around 24k miles. They gave me 23k for it and it needs proly around 3k worth of work. They lost a lot of money on selling me the truck lol

If its not a 4x4 don't lift it. I never understood why people raise 2 wheel drive trucks. Level it, drop it or leave it alone.

The FX2 deserves to be lowered. Get the DJM or Belltech kit. Best kit for those truck.
Also, did you get the 20" wheel option or the standard 18"?
Basically this is what I would go after if I had an FX2...

Man, I'm on a roll with now reading today.
Even with an STX, I'd find some 20"wheels, as there are better street tire options for them for Trucks/SUVs nowadays.
But either way, lower it and add a VMP TVS. :D

That is the same truck I have but mine is the Ecoboost. Both my Mustang and F150 FX2 are 2012's. I'm a baller. Lol!!
Its a 2013 and I've ran over a couple curbs with it lol. All the aero stuff underneath was ripped out. Dent in the radiator. Cracked front splitter. A lot of paint on the bottom. Exhaust leak. Hood needed to be realigned from the hood struts. Front tires were bald (from the back originally) . and pulled to the left pretty bad.
I was pretty bad upside down. They have so many rebates on these trucks right now it helps with equity. Msrp on the truck was like 31k. I got it for around 25k

You only got 6k off the truck? That's really not a deal. I've seen 10-12k off of f150's.

They have 10k off the trucks if your military,college,random$750 mail out rebate,have a trade,and use Ford credit. Kinda hard to meet all thoes requirements. I'm not military college or mail out rebate eligible . I looked into it. They knew about the hood being off center and exhaust leak atleast. They inspected the car. And I broke my front bumper cover.

My dad just got an FX2 truck that stickered for 45 or 46k for 36 and some change drive out.

I love my f150 ecoboost (when my wife lets me drive it).
They are comfortable as all hell, pull a shit ton of weight, and looks half way decent.
I think I paid 32500 otd for an xlt supercrew with some addons about a year ago.
I had them price me a f150 XLT eco 4x4 Screw and it came out at 31k OTD but im upside down a bunch and it came out to be too much for me payment wise atm.

I'll be ok. The Msrp on the truck is like 31k. And I got it for 24-25k. The rebates basically got rid of 4k of negative equity.

It will look sick if done right. I saw a single cab stx debadged/stickered dropped on harley or limited wheels with the 13' hid's. Looked sick. It was race red or similar.

I don't think anyone is sticking up for the dealer really, but rather more concerned the dealer won't give a crap about passing along Zeek's ragged out Stang onto some other unknowing new owner thinking the dealer would actually check the car out before reselling it.

No. 1st off if you buy a used car you should inspect it. If I were buy in that car and saw things wrong you'd be able to low ball em so bad you'd be getting a real good deal on the car. 2ed All it really needed was new tires and an alignment and maybe some touch up paint. Idk if they have fixed the little issues or not. I always didn't regular maintenance and didn't beat on the engine or drive train. I only did 1 burnout it in lol.
