So I'm already bored with my GT500 mufflers, only in volume, tone is perfect but too quiet.
Has anyone tried the new CAT delete kits from BBK or Jegs? It just replaces the section of H-pipe that has the CAT's and is about a foot long for $120. Is it worth it to spend another $180 for the full pipes from lethal?
Does anyone have the full OR H Pipe from lethal with GT500 mufflers I can hear?

I have the BBK cat delete pipes on my car, they have to be welded. Other than that, they are fine.

I have GT500's and the Jeg's cat delete pipes. As mentioned all over the web, they don't seal real well as compared to the stockers, but they will with a lot of adjustment. I've got mine relatively quiet, but still have a small leak that I can hear on cold start. Welding them in completely defeats the purpose of having a modular exhaust system, so that was out of the question for me.

Don its worth it for the lethal o/r h or x, fits like stock no leaks.
Most prefer the H when coupled with the gt500 mufflers.

That's what I was thinking. I'd like to hear it in person if anyone has that combo. I think I want a catted pipe though, I don't want to have to deal with any inspection hassles.

They only have to be welded on the back end, so if you decide to go with headers you're good to go. Even if you're doing a cat-back exhaust you'd still have to replace that, so it's fine to weld in.

Plenty of youtube videos of that setup but sounds so much deeper in real life.
That SS o/r pipe they offer now is a sweet deal. Two piece so it lets you swap in your stock cats when its inspection time.

I've played the welding game before and it never works out in the end. With all the aftermarket support with our cars, welding just seems unneeded with whats available.

Obviously these do the setup no justice due to different mic's and video equipment used.

I guess my mindset is different since I have access to a lift anytime I need one.
