whats e85, if it's so great how come every gas station in the world doesn't carry it? :troll3:

PLASMAN

Ok so if its produced 100% in the US from corn, then why the price hike every time regular gas spikes due to speculation in the markets? It shouldn't change and just shows they are price gouging us!

Biff convinced me that 87 octane is better than e85 as long as I add Torco

Anyone know how much power you can make on E85 with stock fuel pump and KB Boost-a-pump? I have ID1000's.

I am running 630whp right now on a paxton setup. I wanted to get a E85 tune.

Never run E85 to make more power. Run it to provide protection. Any power gains are just a benefit, but the major benefit is protecting your motor.
Also if you're worried about mpg at all then don't go E85 and spare us the bitching.

I understand all that already. Anyone running stock pump and E85 with a blower?

Yagermeister
07-23-2013, 11:08 AM
Kaane is your motor forged already? If not you're just about maxed out safety wise with stock internals. The block can handle around 750-800. Pumpwise I would talk to Kevin Dunn

Kaane

Stock motor for now. E85 tune would be more for the extra octane for detonation prevention. Power is more than sufficient for now.
