Mod Day

With this being such a tight-knit group, I figured I would toss this idea out there. On another forum I was on, sometimes we would get together for a Mod Day, basically anyone that had any mods they wanted to do, would just come out and everyone would show up, lend a hand, be helpful where possible and get to know each other and the cars. I don't have to explain further the obvious benefits but, just tossing the idea out there to see if you all like the idea.

Mustang is caught up, but I'll be working on the wife's RAV4. Bought her air horns to taunt the neighborhood squirrels. I'm sure she or I will never use it in traffic or on unsuspecting pedestrians. ;)

I do most all mods at my shop... I would offer it up but due to insurance reasons and such I'm sure the boss man would flip out if a bunch of stangs showed up just for fun. lol Maybe one at a time or something. I'm always up to help, but you know I've been spoiled with wall mounted spring compressors and pneumatic tools :p

Ryan - How long was the TVS install? Great work man

Took us right at 12 hours to do the suspension and the entire TVS install and initial fire up. The wiring for the VMP plug and play kit was a bit confusing at first but I think that was because I was over thinking it. Got it figured out pretty quick. Hardest part was grinding the engine cover.

I feel like if we did it again we could get it done in about 8-10 hours.

Sorry to bring this old thread back up but didn't want to start a new thread. I am picking up some damn near brand new gt500 axle backs on Sunday. I used to have a pair of ramps for installing exhaust stuff but sold them whenever I got rid of my 13 5.0. Does anyone have a set of ramps I could borrow to install my gt500s? I really don't feel like buying new ones. Haha.
