View Full Version : Carbon Fiber Wrap

Decided to try out some carbon fiber wrap on my roof and trunk. I think it looks pretty good. I may go to a real cf trunk and roof overlay eventually. What do yall think? I really got to get this thing lowered after I get my shifter, lol.

I dig the roof. Not a huge fan of carbon fiber trunks/fenders/hoods just because at a glimpse it makes it look unfinished. Just my opinion though:cheers:

Craigslist, of all places. Lol. Sort of risky but I saw some of the guy's work. I contacted BigWorm first but they told me they do more of the stripes and graphics instead of wraps.

I think the trunk looks unfinished as well. Roof is freakin' sweet!

Some guy near Dallas traded them to me and said he stole them off a Gold 5.0. LOL! Look forward to seeing yours back together with the AMRs while I am deployed.

Stole them while it was on jack stands! You and me both man, hopefully before the end of the year it will be done.

Thanks, eventually I want the real deal. It's just damned expensive. Is there much difference between brand? Are any cf manufacturers better than others?

I'm sure there are differences, but my hood cost half as much as a trufiber piece. I'm very happy with the fit from VIS racing. No carbon piece will be perfect. As far as I know, rksport is the only one doing the roof overlay so far.
