The kit on Kevin's car made 1249rw with an out of the crate Aluminator motor in regular ol GT street car.

That wud depend on driver.

That wud depend on driver.

I would think it would depend on the strength of the internals and the parts inside it, if or what would fail... whats driver gotta do with it? over revving it?

I meant to say how the owner treated it. I've seen built 500hp cars get blown up. I've seen stock block 600hp cars do just fine. Jesus Christ. Obviously it built but w/o specs its hard to speculate. So it comes dwn to driver. It will last 616.7 mi. No more.

The Aluminator has pretty tough internals, but the coyote blocks will deform and break in the water jacket with too much cylinder pressure. There are a couple of aftermarket solutions for the issue - good ol' block fill, or some kind of goofy reinforcement running the length of the cylinder bore, and there is talk that Ford will release a couple of different blocks for high-hp coyotes.

This is the 'Coyote HO' block from Ford Racing: http://s197forum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1629661&postcount=26

This is what can happen when running a stock block.

That is what happens when you push them over 1000 RWHP for a while.

Even the new FRPP Test Block did the same thing on Jon Lunds car.
