Probably getting a different car, looking at an '05 GT to replace one I lost in the divorce. These will still fit, but not sure I'm going to drag race this one.

Anyone that has bought from me in the past will tell you I make good cash deals, so don't be afraid to shoot an offer on these. Worst I can say is no!

Selling the 5.0?

Selling the 5.0?Thinking about it. Might keep them both for a while.

so a boosted 5.0 to a slow 3v?

It's not about the engine for me. Don't get me wrong, I like the '12 a lot, just haven't ever loved it. Don't see me growing into it anymore than I have, and life's too short to drive a car you don't love. And 3V's are only slow if you let them be. They have the same strengths and weaknesses as the 5.0, the 5.0 is just easier to tune to higher level before breaking. Hell, I probably won't do anything more than the FRPP cams to the 3V. Love that sound!

I think my brother might be interested in these. I'll let him know. How many more runs do you think you can get on the rear tires?

I think my brother might be interested in these. I'll let him know. How many more runs do you think you can get on the rear tires? As many as he needs, they have exactly 7 passes on them now, bought specifically for the race in Ohio. No street miles at all. I've run these in the past and they have lasted a couple of seasons of regular weekend racing.

Talked to my brother about them last night, said he's not ready to buy just yet. So I think that's a no go, good luck on the sale tho.

No problem, they'll fit the '05 as well if they don't sell.

How much of a pain are the unilugs vs direct drill?

How much of a pain are the unilugs vs direct drill?

They are not that bad. Just takes a min to line them up is all.

How much of a pain are the unilugs vs direct drill? If you do it like the web site says, not at all. I've had 4 sets of uni lug Race Stars and wouldn't hesitate to get another.
