Mark your Calendars cause it is GOING DOWN ! Mustang VS Camaro Pre-Meet. Come out and meet the opposition to which you could very well be up against ! All Mustang and Camaro owner's are welcome. This meet is the pre-qual to The Mustang VS Camaro showdown coming up in October, dates to be revealed for that.

WHEN : Roll in at 11 AM shoot the breeze and check out the competition and then Eat around Noonish and then we can Depart around 2ish...

Manager at Hooter's is Ecstatic about us coming out and I let him know to expect about 50+ !!!

So again come on out, Pop your hoods and bring your Dyno Sheets and let's get this off and Running !!!!

Disclaimer : Dale (Og_FOX) with DFW 5.0's and Myself (Capt'n) Scott are in complete agreement, there will be no BS at this meet, so check your EGO and your HATE on 114 with the rest of the construction. Anything goes down, Dale and I are pretty Big Boys and I am sure we can disperse any ignorance between the 2 Threats...

Ok everyone ! Just wanted to let you all know that after this event is over with, we will be traveling over to Twin Peaks to help out with the Disaster relief show they are having. This benefits Granbury and Cleburne Tornado victims.. So bring a little or a lot of cash to help donate to this cause !!!

The Mustang VS Camaro Pre-Meet was a fun event. I enjoyed meeting up with fellow DFW50 members and getting a chance to check out their beautiful rides. Ah ha ha, my best is 7.903 with a gt-11 lpe blower cam full bolt on gears 510 to crank 440 to wheel on summer tires not drags next mod is a stall still using stock so yes with a stall and slicks I should be low 7's, also a fun fact is I've only lost to 2 5.0's dales old blue m6 that he would cut a 1.6 60ft on slicks and the red auto 5.0 that has no interior on slicks and skinnies, I have yet to lose to any others and just for fun my first race last Friday was against a 2005 gt with a saleen blower full bolt on and radials and I blew his doors off by 3 cars......your move lol

I agree that cars should be inspected under and inside the engine bay. If they really wanted to make this fair, more people would come out and enjoy it.

I think Sportsman class should only be pony cars, not sports cars. Vettes are kind of hard to place because simple mods make them faster than most of the other current cars in Sportsman.

Yeah. I completely agree. It's hard to judge the fastness of a car just off mods. I mean hell, there are guys out there in Cobras making 700 rwhp off the stock M112 Eaton that has been ported by Steigmeir to a Stage 5, and it still looks exactly like a stock blower on the outside. LOL

There were only 100 or so 2002 cobras made an they were all shipped to Australia. If it is indeed an 02 it is very rare, and I wouldn't have KB it. I would have wrapped it in bubble wrap and stored it away.
