I know Clint had one, it went to Michigan or something, Manny had/has one? who else has one? the one Im looking for in specific is the one filming here...

Wondering what pwr level the Cobra was at in this race, friend said it was turned down, but to what.

After thinking on it, I think the Cobra is Josh's car. I guess Ill shoot him a pm. :)

The White '13 is Josh Anderson's TT 5.0.

The other car is his buddy, but his name has escaped me. There is stuff on Facebook about it.

He posted he made 795 rw in that vid, the white car is unknown, but obviously less since he was getting chased down.

Josh said he bailed because the back end got loose ... The second video shows him staying in it a little longer but also looked like he was getting ran down kinda hard ... But I was not there

Sorry D but his car doesnt run that hard. Those On3 kits just arent very good. The car might be a decent dyno queen but it does not make good power for the psi he is running.

yabsolutely. The white car is around 750 rw... The Cobra was at 795.

Either way that white 5.0 is gonna get drug dirty Friday night.:rotflmao:

That would be Josh Chandler's car.. Good friend of mine.. Still pissed he sold his Red 4th gen camaro.. But I see why he did..

Unfortunately it's not. Subpar chinese turbos and the intercooler doesnt flow enough along with a host of other issues.

Just to give you a lil example, the kit that is going on Kevin's car made well over 700rw on only 8psi and much lower inlet temps. At 12psi it knocks on the door of a 1000rw and that was through an auto. The same kit made 1249rw on Urists car and spooled MUCH quicker.

To your friends defense, his kit is MUCH cheaper but you get what you par for with turbo kits. It's especially true in regards to turbos. If all the pieces aren't designed to work together then a kit will just plain suck.

Oh, far from friends, trust me. Met him once, and he's the definition of cocky, IMO. He knows a good bit about these cars it seems though.

Is Kevin using the kit that CPSrm or whatever his name is on SVTP? Or is this the hellion twin variant kit?

It's the Hellion Twin kit. He's getting some amazing support from man John Urist himself. We talked to him at SEMA for a couple of hours going over every inch of the kit. Urist knows his stuff. I was very impressed with him. Here are several months later and Kevin picks up his kit. We thought John would have forgotten that he said he'd help out. Let's just say he's a man of his word and didn't forget anything. I'll let Kevin explain in his build thread when he gets more done. :peace:

Blue car is mine. Was the first time on the street. It has a very rough baseline tune on the 795 setting. Was going to run it like that and get some datalogs and retune on high boost. I really shouldn't have chased after he got that big of a hit, but it's all in fun. After the first race I tried to turn it up, but the tune was waaaaaaaay off. Popped and banged for a bit. Way to rich, but pulled through it eventually. Josh was cool though, said his car was making around 750rw. I just needed some datalogs really............and the datalogger messed up lol :mad:

I believe Daniel and Scott did the latest tune on it since getting it back out on the street. not sure Smoky Joe tuned it at all... In fact that last pic I posted is at D's shop and I want to say they were tuning it then.

Yeah I noticed the placement of the dyno and the lift, Joe tuned my Bronco there and was going to tune my Cobra but I ended up selling it.

Don't get me wrong, Joe is good. But been super busy since getting back with Holy and working a lot.. I think he even sold his GT500 as well. I have not seen him since moving back to Aledo.

I didn't know that, I don't talk to him all that often. He did tell me he got rid of the GT500 but I think he picked up a new GT. I saw him post some races on facebook a while back.
