Looks like a straight up stall to me. Some sad shit. Hate that.

Lol at this:

The Taliban quickly claimed responsibility for downing the plane, but NATO said in a statement to The Associated Press that the Taliban "claims are false."

Watched this earlier. 7 civilians, reportedly 5 from Michigan, majority of them being gov't contractors.

Supposedly they have to climb like a raped ape as soon as they liftoff to avoid any problems with insurgants, and apparently he tried to pitch the nose down because he released he was climbing too fast, but still ended up causing it to stall.

So sad.

Was reading on reddit (just speculation) that it was a possible load shift to the tail. Nothing much that the pilot could have done at that point.

This is true, I have pictures from being deployed in Bagram, it doesn't look possible for an aircraft that big to climb like that but they do it everyday. It's not just insurgents though, Bagram is in a valley and the aircraft taking off approach the mountains pretty quickly. It's not so much a problem for the 130's and 17's but the NAC, Evergreen and DHL 747's carry a shitload of weight. I've seen the wind alone out there cause problems for aircraft taking off, a shift in load weight could easily take it down.

God that's awful to see. I knew right away seeing how pitched up the nose of the plane was that it was going down. Didn't expect the explosion and complete destruction of the plane.

That's sad. And fuck the Taliban! Those bastards would try to take claim of it.
