Midnight - Does your mom ever get puppies in her rescue? I've got a 3 year old daughter here at home so if we got another dog it would have to be a puppy that would have to be able to learn to get along with a kid. An older dog typically doesn't do that very well.

yea man she does. they get dogs in every week. i would fill out the application process and you can say what type of dog you want and she will try to place one best with your situation. you can say that Nick Lorenzo referred you:)

On a bright note, I have had 3 dachsaunds, one is still alive, a black lab, and australian sheperd, but don't have pics handy right now.

My girlfriend and I also have a Yorkie, technically hers though. He thinks he owns the world...:shrug:

Our dog spencer, picked him up from a pound. We knew he had kennel cough but after taking him to the vet they informed us he also had heart worms and at the time they weren't offering the vaccine anywhere. About 5 months later it came out and he got it. He was officially cleared of heart worms a month ago

Reviving this thread for the heck of posting some good pics my fiance took of Tucker during his marathon swim yesterday

I love the fact my dog is a water hog. Got to let him play in my grandparent's while I was home for Easter and I couldn't get him to stand out of the water for more than 1 min, literally, before he jumped back in. He's so graceful too with his leaping.
