39th Mid-America Ford Shelby Nationals 6/12-16*nsfw*

I know its a little far off but I thought I'd let everyone know about this killer event! I've been 7 out of the last 10 years and I know that it will make anyone who attends drool all weekend.

June 12-16th 2013 in Tulsa, OK

Wednesday-Friday is an open track event at Hallet Motor Racing Circuit
Thursday night has a huge downtown car cruise
Friday night is a banquet dinner with lots of great prizes and keynote speakers, usually high from within the Ford and Shelby ranks
Saturday is drag racing all day at Tulsa Raceway Park
Sunday is a car show at the main hotel

BlueBolt and I along with another Cobra buddy of mine will be caravaning north from Fort Worth Mid day Thursday to make it in time for the cruise night. I plan on doing open track event and drag racing.

I'm going up there on Thursday also. I went 2 years ago and just made the drag racing and Sunday car show, both events were fun with a good turn out even with temps over 100.

That's a 9 hour drive round trip. Not worth it unless you spend the night.

We aren't coming back till Sunday afternoon, but if you wanted to crash on roll away in our room for a night, it'd be cool. Or bring the wife and make a weekend vacation out of it! More fun without of course, but sometimes you do what you gotta do!
