It's a UPR Shifter. With my stock shifter I can chirp 4th gear, so it went back in yesterday.

I wanted to start in second bc it makes starts off great on that gear but we were going about 55-60 so it was to high. Started out in 3rd around 5k so I was little out of the power band. If we started from a 40 I would have jumped out just like he did

Normally I would have taken care of this with you already, it's just been bad timing with the wife so pregnant and now the baby is here I'm just not getting out much right now. The last two nights we're lucky to sleep more than an hour at a time and my wife is still suppose to be on bed rest due to some complications. In had that 93 cobra for over 7 years. Tfs heads, systemax intake, lunati cam vortech s-trim blower were the highlights. Made 540rw and was pretty quick.

The last one i just had before this car was a 98 cobra with a full terminator swap. Posi ported blower, 2.76 upper, 4lb lower etc. Car was lighter than your typical terminator. The blower screamed on that thing too. Was a fun car there at the end.

The 12 is about to get a Paxton and should be much more fun to then it is now. :)

I don't think you're making enough power to worry about snapping an axle on some DR's. Now, as for slip sliding around I don't blame you abit there. But these cars are really easy to drive you should be able to manage 400rw easily.

FFW sucks balls by the way. It was a cool event at one time but it really went to shit. Too expensive, unfair rule changes for TS and just horribly run events. Almost as badly run as Pinks All Out, but not quite. When FFW first started, there would be over 100 cars in the TS division. Then they started opening up the rules for their advertisers letting in their thinly disguised race cars that never saw the street and that just killed attendance.

The last time I went, there was hardly anyone there. No swap meet to speak of, vendors row was a joke and there was like 15 cars in TS. It's a shame too because it was A LOT of fun back in the day.

Besides, who the hell wants to race in that soup down there in the asshole of Texas anyways? lol.

I have to agree, when I used to go over 10 years ago there were a ton of vendors. I used to buy my slicks from there because you could get great deals. The swap meets were great and the racing was good. Last time I went was 5 years ago and it sucked big donkey dick. No swap meet, only 2 vendors and the racing wasn't that great. Not sure I would waste my time and money on that again.
