Well, forgot most of you guys stay way North, this would be a good hike for most just to race.

Even for Tarrant County people it's a good 40 min haul down to Ennis.

I know the thread's a bit old but is the Fast Friday event in Ennis worth going for? Is it usually packed or can you get as many runs in as you like?

I would say they are pretty worth it. It's never overly crowded. I normally get 4-5 runs in and thats because thats where I decide to stop, and watch a little in between. $15 to race all night til 12am. I'm actually going out there Saturday night for their Ultimate Street Night, same price, but they're letting everyone run til 2am: http://texasmotorplex.com/events/ultimate-street-nights/

I was out there last Friday. Decent track prep, lots of room, decent food, line was never longer than maybe 5 cars, working scale, etc. I was pretty impressed. I haven't been out there in years, but I'll go back.

Great to hear. I think I'm going out there Saturday then.

I was there once two years ago but my old transmission was jacked up and had to launch in 2nd - that sucked.

Hey - I'm going to leave Plano about 6:30-ish most likely. I'm trailering my car though so I can put the slicks on at home and not have to screw with it at the track.
