Introduction.. Turbo Xtreme Blazer

Well I know I don't have a 5.0, although I think the look freekin sick, but thought I would intruduce myself and my ride in-case I ever get next to one of you guys :). I have seen a few of the members here's rides rolling down the hwy on a few occasions although I wasn't in my blazer at the time ;/

Anyways, here's the scoop.

2002 Xtreme Blazer, Junkyard 5.3 swap, Built 4l60e, 2200 Precision Converter, Turbo Cam, Dual Springs, 60lb Injectors, AEM Wideband, Custom Front Mount 76mm Turbo done by me, Intercooled, Tuned by me HPTuners, Ford 8.8 Swap, 3.27 gears, 19x10 Saleens Rear, 305/30zr19's, 19x8.5 up front 255/35, bunch of other stuff lol

Thanks man. 19x10 on rear, Pirelli PZero Rosso 305/30zr19 Rear (12.3' Section Width on 12" tread width, think that's the widest 305 made). Front 19x8.5 Same tire but 255/35zr19.

Appreciate it. Funny thing is I have driven in about 1,200 miles since I built it, not 1 race so far. :(

But I do live kinda in the sticks, so a lot of that is country roads and cruising with the family.

BUT about a week ago, 2 of you guys blew past me when we were in the Armada going to supper on I-35 noth just south of Burleson. It was awesome! I thought I was the only one that likes blowing past normal vehicle haha. 1st one was a lowered orange one then right behind it was a lowered green one. Whoever that was, cars looked and sounded mean.

Thought I would post a little video of me tearing up the stock tires before I thru the saleens on. This was on about 14lbs of boost, 3mph to about 130mph (top of 3rd gear).

Crappy thing is I thought these 305's would hook a lot better than the factory 255 Kumho balloon tires. I hit it last night around 80mph and roasted them off sliding sideways on 17lbs of boost. :High 5:

Looks damn good tho, 425rwhp is full heads/cam/tune LS1 stuff. 5.0 aren't no joke. Hell I only made 472rwhp on my old pullied/tuned cobra.

What do you all think, coated all faded trim and tinted the brake lamps. Tomarrow I'll wet sand and buff the lamps to look like paint. I think it's one of the baddest looking blazers I have ever seen!

****UPDATE****

Spent alot of time this weekend on the tune. I'm now finally able to log AFR, AFR Error % and make changes to target my desired AFR at idle, part throttle and cruise. Running much much better!! Also changed up my downpipe, now routed in the fenderwell kinda like my original design. Next few days I'm gonna start logging WOT pulls and make all AFR VE changes (Family riding around this weekend in blazer lol, so no wot pulls). Keep in mind this is with a relatively large cam with an auto AND stock un-drilled TB. Getting pretty good tuning with HPtuners, runs excellent idle quality is very very nice!

Xtreme Boost 2.0 is finally done!!

Man it runs soooooo much better than before! Hitting on all 8 makes a huge difference!

New improvements : L33 All Aluminum 5.3, Removed Hvac/blower assy, New Intake Gaskets, New 60lb injector, New turbo location, new downpipe fabbed up, partial new drivers side tubular header, All A/N Fuel Fittings with Pro-Stock Hose, New Coolant Overflow, Thicker Front Wheels Adapters, Lowered 3" Front, Removed All 02 Sensors, and I'm sure a few more things I'm missing.
